Morgan & Chad’s Color-Soaked, Disco-Dream Wedding Day
If a garden party and “I Want to Be With You Everywhere” by Fleetwood Mac had a wedding baby, this would be it.
Morgan and Chad’s wedding day was unapologetically colorful, wildly joyful, and full of the kind of energy you feel the second you walk into a space and think, yeah… this is going to be good. From bright florals to disco details to feather boas flying across the dance floor, their day was proof that weddings don’t have to be stiff or traditional to be meaningful — they just have to feel like you.

A Wedding That Felt Like a Party, Not a Shot List
From the very beginning, Morgan was clear about what mattered most:
documentary-style storytelling mixed with fun, creative prompts — and absolutely no standing in a line and smiling.
Their day was rooted in those real, blink-and-you-miss-them moments — the quiet excitement before the ceremony, stolen glances, laughter that didn’t feel posed — while still leaving room to get a little weird, a little extra, and very much them.

Creative Time Before the Ceremony (Yes, Please)
One of my favorite parts of Morgan and Chad’s day was carving out intentional time before the ceremony to get creative together. Not rushed. Not stiff. Just fun.
This is where documentary photography really shines — letting moments unfold naturally while sprinkling in prompts that bring out connection instead of posing. The result? Photos that feel alive. Emotional. A little cinematic.

Feather Boas, Disco Energy & Being Extra (In the Best Way)
By the time the reception rolled around, it was clear: this wasn’t a “sit politely at your table” kind of night.
Feather boas made their appearance (iconic). Disco vibes took over. Color exploded in every direction. And the dance floor? Unhinged in the best way possible.
This is the kind of wedding where you don’t just photograph what it looks like — you photograph what it felt like. The movement. The joy. The chaos. The magic.

A Day Inspired by Color, Creativity & Pure Joy
Morgan drew inspiration from bold, creative weddings (think Indy Blue-level energy), and trusted the process fully — which is always where the magic happens. When couples lean into their vision, follow what lights them up, and let the day unfold naturally, the result is something unforgettable.
Morgan and Chad’s wedding wasn’t about perfection.
It was about presence. Color. Connection. And being so fully yourselves that everyone else feels free to do the same.
And honestly? That’s my favorite kind of love story to tell.
